How Mobile Money and card payments work, and what the fees are.
Mobile Money (MoMo)
We support MTN MoMo and Airtel Money in Uganda. After you confirm the amount in the app, an STK push prompt appears on your phone — enter your MoMo PIN there to authorise the charge.
If the prompt doesn't appear within 30 seconds, dial your network's USSD code and check pending requests, then approve it.
Card payments
Tap the Cardoption at checkout to pay with Visa or Mastercard. We open Paytota's secure hosted page in-app so your card details never touch our servers.
If a payment fails
If your money was deducted but the booking didn't complete, give us 15 minutes — most cases auto-recover via our payment webhook. If it still hasn't completed after that, tap Send Feedbackin Settings with the time + amount and we'll reconcile manually.
Refunds
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before kickoff are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before kickoff are not refundable — the booking is considered earned by the partner.
Approved refunds return to the original Mobile Money number used for the booking and process within 3 to 5 business days, depending on the operator. Full terms in the Refund Policy.
