Refund Policy

1. Cancellation Window (24-Hour Rule)

To ensure fair use of facility time and protect partners from lost bookings:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled booking time: Eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled booking time: No refunds will be issued, and the booking is considered fully earned by the facility partner.

All cancellation requests must be submitted through the Platform.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds, where applicable, are subject to verification of:

  • Successful booking confirmation
  • Valid cancellation request within the permitted timeframe
  • Facility partner confirmation where required

Play Plot reserves the right to reject refund requests that do not comply with this Policy.

3. Payment Method and Processing

All payments are processed through independent third-party payment service providers.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original Mobile Money (MoMo) number or payment method used for the booking.

Refunds are processed within 3 to 5 business days, depending on third-party provider timelines.

Play Plot is not responsible for delays caused by mobile money operators or payment service providers.

4. Facility-Initiated Cancellations

If a facility partner cancels a booking due to circumstances including but not limited to:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Unsafe or unplayable pitch conditions
  • Power failures or operational disruptions

The facility partner is responsible for either:

  • Authorizing a full refund, or
  • Offering a rescheduled booking slot

Play Plot will process refunds only upon confirmation from the facility partner through the Platform system.

5. No-Show Policy

Failure by a user to attend a confirmed booking without prior cancellation is considered a “no-show” and is not eligible for a refund.

6. Platform Role

Play Plot acts solely as a booking and scheduling intermediary and does not hold, manage, or guarantee refunds outside the conditions set in this Policy.

7. Force Majeure

Play Plot is not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural events, or infrastructure failures.

8. Amendments

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
