Partner Terms and Conditions

Welcome to PlayPlot! These Partner Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Partner”, “Venue Owner”, or “You”) and PlayPlot (“Platform”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”). By registering your sports facility (“Venue”) on the PlayPlot app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The PlayPlot Service

PlayPlot provides a digital booking and payment platform that connects sports players with sports venues. We act solely as an intermediary to facilitate bookings and process payments. We do not own, operate, or manage any of the Venues listed on our Platform.

2. Partner Obligations

As a PlayPlot Partner, you agree to:

• Maintain Accurate Availability: You must ensure that your Venue's calendar and available slots on the PlayPlot Partner Dashboard are accurate and up to date. If a slot is booked offline, you must block it out on the app to prevent double-booking.
• Honor Bookings: You agree to honor all confirmed bookings made through PlayPlot.
• Provide a Safe Environment: You are responsible for ensuring that the Venue is safe, properly maintained, and fit for purpose at the time of the booking.
• Price Parity: The booking price listed on PlayPlot must be the same as (or lower than) the walk-in price you offer to offline customers.

3. Fees and Commission

To cover the costs of platform maintenance, marketing, and secure payment processing, PlayPlot charges a commission on every successful booking.

• The Platform Fee: PlayPlot deducts a flat 10% commission from the total booking price paid by the user.
• Partner Payout: You will receive 90% of the total booking price.
• Taxes: The Partner is solely responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting any applicable local taxes (such as VAT) related to the use of their Venue.

4. Payouts & Settlements

• Processing: PlayPlot securely processes player payments upfront via Mobile Money (MoMo) or Card.
• Payout Schedule: Accumulated earnings (minus the 10% Platform Fee) will be transferred to your registered Mobile Money number or designated Bank Account on a Weekly / Bi-Weekly / Monthly basis.
• Reporting: You can view a transparent breakdown of all bookings, gross revenue, deducted fees, and net payouts at any time via your PlayPlot Partner Dashboard.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

We enforce a strict cancellation policy to protect your revenue while being fair to players:

• Player Cancellations (Over 24 Hours): If a player cancels their booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled kick-off time, they receive a full refund. The slot will automatically reopen on your calendar. You will not receive payment for this cancelled slot.
• Player Cancellations (Under 24 Hours): If a player cancels less than 24 hours before kick-off, or fails to show up, no refund is issued to the player. The booking is considered “earned”, and you will receive your standard 90% payout.
• Partner Cancellations: If you (the Partner) must cancel a confirmed booking due to an emergency or unplayable conditions (e.g., severe flooding, power failure), you must do so immediately via the Partner Dashboard. The player will receive a full refund. Repeated Partner cancellations may result in the suspension of your PlayPlot account.

6. Liability and Indemnity

• No Liability for Injury: PlayPlot is a booking software. We are not liable for any injuries, accidents, damages, or losses suffered by players while on your property.
• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold PlayPlot harmless from any legal claims, damages, or expenses arising from the use of your Venue, disputes with players on-site, or your failure to maintain a safe facility.

7. Intellectual Property & Marketing

By joining PlayPlot, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your Venue's name, logos, and uploaded photographs for the purpose of marketing your Venue and the PlayPlot app on social media, our website, and promotional materials.

8. Termination

• By You: You may remove your Venue from PlayPlot at any time by providing us with 7 days written notice, provided you honor any bookings already confirmed for future dates.
• By Us: PlayPlot reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, consistently double-book players, receive repeated negative player reviews, or fail to maintain a safe facility.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Uganda.
